ALL LAYERS OF YOU
Dora Bosner 2021
A "portrait" of one person at the micro-level. Instead of the face, the photos show micro details of the person such as skin, nails, hair, and other segments of the body itself as well as personal items such as their clothing, art, or a phone.
The idea is to capture the micro parts of a person with partially abstract photographs. The photographs mostly show textures, colors, and shapes that may or may not have a clear meaning and origin, but belong and make up a person.
Photographs were taken with a digital microscope that has the ability to record images. A strong macro lens gives it the ability to see detailed textures that are not visible to the human eye or at least not in so much detail.
